Keychron is favored by many custom keyboard fans as well as Mac users.
Recently, the Keychron Q1 HE, the first in the long-awaited “HE Series” with magnetic switches, has been released and is gaining support from the gaming crowd.
In addition, the “Max Series” released in the second half of 2023 will be even more popular with the gaming crowd due to its ultra-low latency, including an improved polling rate of 1000 Hz when connected wirelessly (using a USB receiver) using the 2.4 GHz band, which is the same as when connected wired. This is a very low latency connection.
Keychron can be used for both such business and gaming purposes, and as you know, it is famous for having a very large number of models.
Types of Keychron and how to choose ▷▷▷
Therefore, in Japan, only some models imported by the authorized distributor “Kopec Japan” are available for purchase, and since the only models that have obtained the technical qualification required for wireless connection in the first place are authorized sales products, it is difficult to legally use them even if you import unreleased models.
However, a search of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications’ “Search for Devices with Technical Regulations Conformity Certification, etc.” revealed that there are many models that have obtained technical conformity certification even if they have not yet been released in Japan.
In this article, we will introduce Keychron products that have obtained technical certification at this time, as well as models that are not yet available in Japan but have obtained technical certification.
However, please read the following notes carefully.

- Please click here to see the rationale for technical compliance.
- As for K1 to K10, seeing that there is no Pro notation, it is most likely that the wireless modules are probably common.
- C series, V series (no mark), and Q series (no mark) are marked with “ー” because they do not have wireless connectivity.
- Only K7/K15 listed in Kopec Japan is not listed in the Technical Qualification List, so it is listed as “? (unconfirmed)”, but we assume that it is probably just not reflected on the MIC side.
- Given the technical certification of the Keychron USB-C Receiver, we are aware that it is also certified for wireless connectivity using the 2.4GHz band.
- For use in Japan, the keyboard must (1) be certified for technical compliance and (2) have a technical compliance mark on the keyboard itself.
