The Rainy75 was crowdfunded in March 2024 and quickly became popular for its unique typing sound and cost-effectiveness, and was so popular that it was sold out at the time of writing, partly because it was on sale at 20% off during the 2024 Amazon Prime Sale The product is now sold out at the time of writing.
We plan to restock in early August 2024 and have confirmed that some models are in stock.
Sales Information

*Split space bar and JIS layout style switch plate are available only for “Lite series”. The availability of backlight is a major difference from other models.
KIBU Corporation, the Japanese distributor of the Wobkey Rainy75, provided us with photos and videos of the Rainy75 being assembled at the Wobkey factory, and we are pleased to share them with you.
It is very rare to see a keyboard being assembled, so it is extremely valuable.

Rainy75 factory assembly
Let’s take a look at the inside of the factory.
This video shows an iron-like machine being pressed against the bottom case, which is presumably unpainted.
Since abrasives are also seen around the area, it is likely that the surface is being prepped prior to painting.
The orange machines are lined up in rows… You can see that the blue racks contain aluminum cases that are probably unpainted.
This suggests that perhaps these machines are anodized aluminum paint booths.
The three circular containers at the top contain keycaps, and below them can be seen the machine that fits the keycaps into the switch plate.
It seems that the keyswitches are fitted one by one by machine in this way.
I would like to replace the key switch and I would like to fully automate the process.
It looks as if Rainy75 is adjusting the image on the monitor by looking at the screen.
Details are unclear, but it appeared as if they were testing whether the keys would actually be entered.
This is probably a kitting process.
They seem to be sealed one by one by hand in this way.
summary
Since it is not often that keyboards are shown to the public how they are made in a factory, we were able to see something very rare.
It is still an amazingly high cost-performance ratio for such a labor-intensive product, which can be purchased starting at 20,000 yen.
We invite you to experience the “rain-sounding keystroke” for yourself.
