On July 7, 2026, Cerakey announced its new keyboard, the “Maris60 HE.”
The Maris60 HE is a keyboard that uses magnetic switches.
It’s set to launch on Kickstarter soon.
Given that its configuration is quite similar to the previous Peak60, the Maris60 may be positioned as the successor to the Peak60.
Cerakey’s official X also explains that ceramic or aluminum models will be available, and that it will be upgraded to V4 stems to improve stability.
On the official pre-launch page, a $2 VIP Reservation has also started.

What is the Maris60 HE?

The Maris60 HE is Cerakey’s new magnetic keyboard.
It’s described as a “dual-layer hollow ceramic magnetic keyboard,” and features a distinctive design with Cerakey’s signature ceramic presentation plus large openings on the case side as well.

Design-wise, it feels close to the “Cerakey x Ellipsis Ceramic Wrist Rest.”

Available in ceramic and aluminum versions
The Maris60 HE comes in two main editions.
| edition | Wording on the official page |
|---|---|
| Full Ceramic Edition | Two Exclusive Colors |
| Die-Cast Aluminum Edition | Three Classic Colors |

Cerakey’s official X also states that the Maris60 HE will be available in ceramic or aluminum.
As for pricing, the ceramic edition is about $100 more expensive.
| Edition | VIP price: up to 5 per user | 48-hour limited, subscribers only |
|---|---|---|
| Maris 60 Metal Edition | US$89 | US$99 |
| Maris 60 Pro Ceramic Edition | US$199 | US$209 |
True to Cerakey’s strength in ceramic keycaps, this time it looks like a model that goes beyond just keycaps and leans into material expression for the keyboard itself as well.
Three types of ceramic keycaps
The Maris60 HE is said to include Cerakey’s latest ceramic keycaps.
The keycap finishes come in the following three types.
| type | Details |
|---|---|
| Ice Crystal | An ice-crystal-style ceramic finish |
| Crackle | A crackle-style finish that looks like traditional ceramic firing |
| Matte | A matte ceramic finish |

Cerakey is a brand that has built its lineup around ceramic keycaps.
With the Maris60 HE, those ceramic keycaps are paired with the keyboard body, creating a setup designed to “show off” alongside the case color.
It also looks like the keycaps have evolved to “v4.”

From the images, the stem color also appears to be transparent.
This may be, perhaps, a move made with competitor TacType in mind.
Original key switches are used as well

The switches appear to be Cerakey’s original key switches.
They’re linear, short-travel switches with a 3.3mm stroke, making it a setup geared toward fast typing.
Mounting method unconfirmed, but tray mount?

The mounting method isn’t explicitly stated, but judging from the structural diagram, it looks like a tray mount.
That said, seeing a silicone damper built into a layer near the bottom suggests it may still offer a fairly cushioned feel.
Also, since the switch plate includes the word “titanium,” it gives the impression of tuning aimed more toward a hi-fi sound.
Specs as a magnetic keyboard
The Maris60 HE is a keyboard that uses magnetic switches.
The specs as a magnetic keyboard are as follows.
| Item | Details |
|---|---|
| RT | 0.01mm |
| Pauling rate | 8000Hz |
| Key scan | Up to 64KHz |
| Low latency | 0.125ms |
| Algorithm | Explained as supporting zero dead zone / no disconnection |
With specs like RT 0.01mm, 8000Hz polling, up to 64KHz key scan, and 0.125ms low latency, the Maris60 HE appears to be designed as a magnetic keyboard with gaming use strongly in mind.
SOCD / RS / DKS supported in Ceraky Lab
“Ceraky Lab” is introduced as a web-based driver for the Maris60.

In Ceraky Lab, in addition to remapping keys, it seems you can configure the following magnetic-switch features.
| Feature | Details |
|---|---|
| SOCD | A feature related to handling simultaneous key presses |
| RS | Likely a rapid-input feature, but details are pending the official explanation |
| DKS | A Dynamic Keystroke-type feature |
| custom profiles | Custom profiles |
Features like SOCD and DKS are often considered important for gaming use in recent magnetic keyboards.
However, the detailed behavior and supported scope of each feature can’t be fully confirmed from the pre-launch page alone. We’ll want to wait for the official Kickstarter page and information after the software is released.
Differences from the previous Peak60 HE
Cerakey already has a full-ceramic-case magnetic keyboard called the “Peak60 HE.”
So naturally, with the Maris60 HE, the big questions are: “Is it a successor to the Peak60 HE?” and “What changed?”
Based on what can be confirmed from the official page at this time, it’s more natural to view the Maris60 HE not as a model that dramatically boosts input performance over the Peak60 HE, but as a new model that reworks the material lineup, price range, stems, design, and keycap finishes.
| Item | Peak60 HE | Maris60 HE |
|---|---|---|
| Price | Sale price $239 (regular price $299) | VIP price: Metal Edition $89 Pro Ceramic Edition $199 |
| Case Material | Ceramic case | Full Ceramic Edition Die-Cast Aluminum Edition |

| Stem | V2 ABS Plastic | Listed as upgraded to V4 stems |
| Layout | ANSI 60% | ANSI 60% |
| mount(ing) system | Tray mount | Unconfirmed |
| Size / weight | 309.6×118.1×22mm / 1290g | Unconfirmed |
| Pauling rate | 8000Hz | 8000Hz |
| PCB scan | 64KHz | Up to 64KHz |
| Low latency | 0.125ms | 0.125ms |
| RT | 0.01mm | 0.01mm |
| Web driver | Ceraky Lab | Ceraky Lab |
The Peak60 HE was a 60% magnetic keyboard featuring a full ceramic case, Ice Crystal Glaze Ceramic keycaps, and V2 ABS Plastic stems.
Meanwhile, the Maris60 HE will be available not only in a full ceramic version but also in a die-cast aluminum version.
In addition, the ceramic keycap finishes expand beyond Ice Crystal to include Crackle and Matte glaze.
And considering Cerakey’s official X also notes that the Maris60 HE has been upgraded to V4 stems, it does seem like the Maris60 HE can be seen as a successor to the Peak60 HE.
Wrap-up|Cerakey’s push into “ceramic materials × magnetic” is getting serious
That’s it for our coverage of the Maris60 HE’s sales launch.
Cerakey is strongly associated with ceramic keycaps, but in recent years its push into hardware has become more noticeable with products like the NADA65, ZEN75, and Peak60 HE.
Because ceramic keycaps have such a distinct character, pairing them with existing keyboards often requires overall tuning, including the typing feel.
In that sense, a “fully coordinated keyboard made by the seller/manufacturer” that you can use with that tuning already done is a very valuable product.
Considering the standalone price of Cerakey’s ceramic keycaps, the pricing of the Pro Ceramic Edition feels like a particularly good deal.
